The William Booth Training College

Well we are here. We are settling in nicely. Kids love J.A.M, infact I love Jam as it means I get rid of the kids for a couple of hours. The study is quite mind boggeling. I have been told my placement today, so on the 5th Nov I am off to Belfast for a week. Before that I have a weekend away at the congress.
Paul is away at the moment he is in Germany until the end of the month.
So we will be like ships that pass in the night he will be coming home as I am going away.

Seven days!

Well it is really countdown now! Seven days till move day. I am looking forward to it, we have new neighbours who are very nice, but their baby likes to be fed every three hours during the night, unfortunately its bedroom is next to mine!
Never mind, boxes, boxes, when I do sleep, I dream of boxes!
I am really very nervous now, if I think about college I get a huge lump in my tummy so I think it is best not to think about it!
Nervous about the fare well also, if you can come please do I would appreciate the support! I am worried there will be no one there who knows me!
Any way enough moaning. Keep in contact every one and remember us in your prayers!

On the move again

Well it is less than two weeks now until we move into college. Can't believe it is over a year since we moved to London. We move into college on the 1st September, our divisional farewell is the 11th September and then college begins on the 16th September. On the 27th and 28th September it is the college Welcome. So September is going to be mad, especially as we have William's 8th birthday and Paul's 40th Birthday. So it will be a truly manic September! But hopefully all will be good! This is a photo of us cutting the cake at our farewell at Margate, last month! It all went well. The boys were sad to say good bye to their friends. But they are pleased to be moving to college as they already have friends there and they do not like living here that much.

Concert to raise funds for college

Hi all we are having a concert at Penge Salvation Army on the 5th September at 7.30pm. The cost is £3 per person and it is to raise money to help towards me going to college in September. It is some of Pauls friends from work and some guys from Hadleigh Corps.
Please come. We would love to see you all their!

Whats new?

It has been a lazy day today. We have been to covent garden and had a wander back via Trafalgar Square. It was very nice to not be rushing around, like we normally do at the weekends. Well it is all go now, we are getting ready to go to college in September. We are moving in at the end of August. I have handed my notice in at work and am leavng on the 18th July.

Rich is doing a GCSE exam on Monday ad is quite nervous, but of course he has done no revsion so he will not do too well, but you cannot tell him.

Thomas is a bit worried about leaving Margate because his instrument is on loan from there and he doesn't know if Penge will lend him one!

William is just William, he is as nutty as a fruit cake and as cute as a puppy!

Paul is as stropey as ever and as normal worried about money!

Found this the other day it is cool isnt it? Look at his skinny legs, I love it. This is when we first got married.

Latest News

Well not much happens here in burr world! We are just all plodding along happily, it is schools holidays, again! Hope the weather cheers up a bit, it was lovely on Saturday but grotty today, it is bound to be bad tomorrow as it is a bank holiday but after that lets hope.

Not long know until we move into college, the end of August. Boys and Paul are really excited, I am a little nervous, I know it is what God wants but I am still nervous!

We went to covent garden the other day, this guy was great!

On Saturday we had a picnic in St James Park. the weather was lovely!

We will miss it when we move to college we go at least once a week for a stroll. It is only about two minutes walk from here.

Any way I have bored you all enough, I suppose I had better get on.
